Supporting Independent At Every Step

Real People Doing Real Work for Real Good.

Friends > Freelancers

Nature Is Dope. was built on trails, at campsites, on chairlifts, and through years of genuine friendships with people who love the outdoors and love to create.

Our artists aren't contractors on a random list. They're collaborators and people we actually know and who own their work, grow with the brand, and share in its success through a profit-sharing model that makes sure credit and compensation actually go to the people earning it. When the brand wins, everyone wins. That's the whole idea.

Keepin' it in Oregon

And it doesn't stop there. Every piece is printed, packaged, and shipped through an independent Oregon-based woman-owned & run print shop that also prides itself on sustainable practices - from 100% recycled packaging to water-based inks. An organization we're proud to call a partner as we built this from the ground up. From design to delivery, this is about real people with real stakes in choosing to do this right at every step.

The Larger Supply Chain

Every garment supplier we source from is independently owned and operated — no corporate conglomerates, no anonymous middlemen, no shrugging at the question of where things come from. They're businesses built by real people who treat their work the same way we treat ours: with intention, transparency, and a refusal to cut corners on what actually matters.

Across our partners, that looks like real fair wages — not the legal minimum, but a livable one. It looks like safe, healthy work environments — with climate-controlled facilities, on-site medical care for workers and their families, and fair hours protected by rigorous third-party oversight. It looks like ongoing investment in the surrounding communities, from access to education and safe housing to local development initiatives that go far beyond the factory floor. It looks like accreditations from organizations like the Fair Labor Association, Fair Wear Foundation, and Sustainable Apparel Coalition — independent bodies that exist solely to keep apparel companies honest. And it looks like a deep, demonstrable commitment to human health, for the people making the garments and the people wearing them.

These aren't checkboxes for them. They're cornerstones. The same values we built this brand around are the values they built theirs around — which is exactly why we chose them.

The Bottom Line

You're choosing a brand that's built on the belief that creativity, accountability, and good work should be the way things are done. And every partner we work with — from artists, to garment makers, to print shops — was chosen for the same reason: they believe it too.
